Praxis Comics has announced Climate Witness, a comic book series produced in partnership with the World Wildlife Federation which will feature stories intended to illustrate the effects of global warming and educate readers on how their actions can affect the planet.

Launching in October, Climate Witness will be a bi-monthly and start with a five-issue story arc. Each issue will have an introductory story showing the effects of global climate change on individuals such as a Tibetan monk and an Indonesian fisherman.

The comics will likely be 32 pages and have a $2.99 cover price. The first five issues are expected to be released in a collected trade paperback edition next June.

Praxis Comics is also looking to distribute the comics in South America and Europe and publish in different languages.
