Virgin Comics and the Sci Fi Channel have named Stuart Moore as editor for the first titles from their joint imprint launching later this year  (see 'Sci Fi Channel Teams Up With Virgin Comics').  Moore was a founding editor at Vertigo and more recently an editor for the Marvel Knights comics line. 

Sci Fi/Virgin is currently fielding story ideas from various comic book and TV writers for the line's launch.
