Diamond Book Distributors has hired John Shableski as Sales Manager, responsible for overseeing sales and marketing efforts to independent bookstores, and the library and school markets. 

Shableski comes to Diamond from library wholesaler Brodart, where he was Graphic Novels Coordinator in addition to other responsibilities.  More recently, as a graphic novel consultant Shableski has organized informational events for librarians such as the recent graphic novel symposium held by Suffolk (NY) Cooperative Library System.
