Johnny Dynamite, the 50s comic character revived by Max Allen Collins and Terry Beatty in a Dark Horse four-shot (now an AiT/Planet Lar  graphic novel), is being adapted to the small screen by producer Dick (Law and Order) Wolf, among others, according to Variety.  A pilot will be produced first, with D.J. Caruso (Disturbia) directing.  Collins will be co-executive producer.

The pilot (and series) will be shot using 300-style greenscreen technology to capture the comic book style of the graphic novel.  It would be the first series shot in that manner to make it to TV, if it's picked up.
