Variety is reporting that Fragile, a graphic novel written and illustrated by Stefano Raffaele and published here by Humanoids in 2005, has been optioned by Rogue Pictures with Eduardo Rodriguez (Curandero) set to direct.  Jeff Dixon, who is writing Run Like Hell for Viper Comics, adapted Fragile, a unique take on the zombie genre which adopts the point of view of the undead.  In the story, a cute zombie girl and her recently killed soldier lover endeavor to find a cure before being wiped out by the forces of the living (including the soldier's own unit).  Dixon is also writing the screenplay for Buried, which is in development at Maverick films.

Stefano Raffaele, the creator of Fragile, is an Italian artist who has had considerable experience in American comics working on such titles as New Gods, Birds of Prey, Batman, X-Men Adventures, X-Factor, Conan the Barbarian and Wildstorm's Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
