Skybound Entertainment has hired two new members for its editorial team: Senior Editor Diegs Lopez and Assistant Editor Caitlin Sinclair Chappell.

Lopez will handle licensed projects in the Universal Monsters line as well as LEGO Ninjago graphic novels.  She will also acquire original works. Lopez was previously Senior Editor of children’s entertainment at Abrams Books, working chiefly on graphic novels, and prior to that was at DC Comics when the young-readers line was being launched.

Chappell will work with Editorial Director Alex Antone and Executive Editor Ben Abernathy on a variety of projects, including Universal Monsters and G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero.  Prior to coming to Skybound, she worked at two comic shops, Forbidden Planet in New York and Collector’s Paradise in Los Angeles, and was a freelance journalist for Screen Rant and Anime Herald.
