The comic book retailer organization ComicsPRO has consulted with Wizard Entertainment providing input that has led Wizard to provide new incentives and returnability options for Wizard #195 and the 2008 Wizard Movie Spectacular.  In the past Wizard had not solicited the time sensitive Movie Spectaculars via Diamond's Previews, but had shipped them based on orders for other Wizard publications.  After the second Wizard Movie Spectacular shipped this year ComicsPRO began working behind-the-scenes to come up with a better method for dealing with unsolicited issues and over-ship programs.

After listening to ideas from ComicsPRO, Wizard Entertainment came up with a new policy.  Retailers who order 100% of their order quantity for Wizard #193 on Wizard #195 and 75% of their Wizard #193 order on the Movie Spectacular will be able to return all unsold copies--a beneficial (to retailers) modification of Wizard's previous over-ship returns policy.

ComicsPRO, which now represents over 100 retailers (and 140 storefronts), recently hired retailer Amanda Fisher of Muse Comics in Missoula, Montana as the organization's first paid staff member.  Ms. Fisher will function as ComicsPRO's Communications Coordinator responsible for both internal and external communication.
