Digital entertainment studio Worldwide Biggies has acquired all rights to the Tom Swift book series with plans for a feature film, videogame and eventually episodes for TV and the Web, according to Variety. Worldwide Biggies' Albie Hecht (former executive at Nickelodeon and Spike) told Variety the property has 'boomer equity,' which should help boost its popularity.
Tom Swift is published by Simon & Schuster and has sold more than 20 million copies since first introduced in 1910.
