The current issue of Spin Magazine is reporting that Image Comics is planning to publish Tori Amos' Comic Book Tattoo, a 400+ page anthology of full color comic stories based on narratives created by songstress Tori Amos. The full list of creators has not yet been released but so far Chris Arrant, Colleen Doran, Star St. Germain, Derek McCulloch, Lea Hernandez, Neil Kleid, Leah Moore, John Reppion, Hope Larson and Pia Guerra (Y the Last Man) are confirmed.
Rantz Hoseley, a longtime Tori Amos confidant, is editing the graphic novel anthology, which is due to be released in time for the San Diego Comic-Con this summer. It was Rantz Hoseley who introduced Neil Gaiman to Tori Amos -- so far there has been no announcement that Gaiman will be writing one of the song-based stories, but don't be too surprised if he does.
