Shout! Factory is releasing the first two DVDs of the Pucca cartoon series in March.  The cartoons were produced by the Vancouver-based Studio B and are based on the Korean property created by Vooz Character Systems.

This comedic property, which began as a flash animation series, has developed a worldwide following.  The Pucca animated series has been a staple of Toon Disney's Monday and Friday night schedule for over a year.

Pucca is a ten-year-old girl who is the ward of three owners of a Chinese noodle house.  She is in love with the young ninja Garu, though he doesn't appear to return her affection.

Shout! Factory is releasing two Pucca DVDs, Pucca: Kung Fu Kisses and Pucca: Ninjas Love Noodles ($14.95 each) on March 18th.  The Pucca cartoons, which target kids from 7-12, mix mild ninja action with lots of situational humor.  The Pucca property has inspired a popular manhwa series in Korea, but so far it has only been translated into Chinese and German.
