The English language version of Persepolis will be released in 100 theaters in the U.S. on April 11th, according to Hollywood Reporter.  The English version, with an all star voice cast that includes Sean Penn, Catherine Deneuve, and Gena Rowlands (see "Sean Penn, Iggy Pop to Voice Persepolis") will undoubtedly draw better than the French version, which has accumulated just over $4 million in U.S. box office receipts to date, playing in a maximum of over 500 theaters.
