Kotobukiya has provided a first look at its Marvel Studios: The Incredible Hulk Movie Fine Art Statue ($175), a nearly foot tall cold cast resin representation of the battling behemoth in the act of hurling a shredded Humvee.  Sculpted by Abe Junnosuke, this high-end collectible is due for release in January.  Kotobukiya’s first Marvel Studios release, Iron Man (see “First Look at the Iron Man Statue”), is scheduled to street in November.  The Hulk Movie Fine Art Statue stands on a base representing a destroyed street taken directly from The Incredible Hulk movie. The base will interlock with that of the Abomination Fine Art Statue, which will be Kotobukiya’s next release in its Marvel Studios line and allow collectors to recreate a key moment from the climactic battle in the new Hulk movie.

With the addition of the marvelously detailed wreckage of a Humvee held overhead, the massive Hulk sculpture actually measures well over 14 inches in height.  Every detail from the Jade Giant's bulging veins to the neon pigments highlighting his enraged eyes has been rendered perfectly and based on reference materials supplied by Marvel Studios.

As was the case with Kotobukiya’s Iron Man offering, The Incredible Hulk Movie Fine Art Statue will be a limited edition, and each figure will come with an individual serial number.  Prototypes of the new Hulk Statue will be on display at Anime Expo, Comic-Con, and other key late summer/fall trade shows.
