According to The Hollywood Reporter Warner Bros. has obtained the screen rights to comic book miniseries Hiding in Time, which was created by Christopher Long, illustrated by Ryan Winn and published by Image Shadowline.  Warners has assigned writer Beau Thorne, who wrote the videogame adaptation Max Payne, to craft a screenplay for Hiding in Time.

Hiding in Time is the kind of genre-mixing (science fiction/crime drama), high concept saga that Hollywood loves.  Set in the near future at a time when the Federal Witness Protection Program has learned how to hide high value witnesses by relocating them in time, a government scientist must travel back in time through some of the major events in history to rescue the witnesses whose temporal locations have been compromised.
