Kirby Tardy of Tardy's Collectors Corner in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been following and contributing to retailer comments on delivery timing (see “Kirby Tardy of Tardy's Collectors Corner on One Day Earlier”) and reasserts that he advocates “Tuesday deliveries for all.”

I advocate Tuesday delivery for all.  I posted specific actual extra dollar costs by not receiving comics on Tuesday and suggested we all calculate these costs and let Diamond know how much of our bottom line is affected by extra costs involved with the weekly Wednesday scramble.

I am against using an earlier ship day to unfair advantage IF the goal is truly a level playing field.  But I do not know why a level playing field is needed, we should all thrive or sink due to our business decisions and not artificial barriers or advantages built in by our supplier.  I urge you all to think long and hard about this situation.
