A Jeff Smith store appearance will be auctioned to a ComicsPro member store between October 5th and October 12th, with all proceeds going to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. It will be the only comic store appearance Smith will make in 2008-2009.
Cartoon Books will bear the travel and lodging expenses. The auction will be conducted on the ComicsPro site, and will be open only to ComicsPro member stores.
Smith’s Bone, is, of course, a major cross-channel hit, now from Scholastic. His RASL has been a major direct market hit, and the first storyline will shortly be collected by Cartoon Books.
