Variety reports that Stan Lee's Pow! Entertainment, the company he formed after the demise of Internet company Stan Lee Media (see 'Pop Culture Content Sites Update'), has signed a 'first look' deal with MGM and Cheyenne Enterprises (a production company co-owned by Bruce Willis).  Three projects are getting that first look, all superhero action-adventures:  'Femizons,' 'The Double Man,' and 'Nightbird.'  'Double Man' looks like it's the furthest along, because there's a director and writer named for development work.  'Femizons' has writers, and 'Nightbird' is at an earlier stage.  All concerned say they're looking for 'franchise' properties than can support a run of films.

Pow! has one other project in the pipe, which will probably result in merchandise for retailers to sell earlier than the movie deal announced above--it's collaborating with  Pamela Anderson on Stripperella, an animated series set for airing on the new TNN adult toon block.
