Legendary comic book artist and New York native Neal Adams will be a Guest of Honor at the 4th Annual New York Comic Con, which will be held from February 6-8 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.  Adams, who is perhaps best known for his work in creating the definitive look of some of DC Comics’ most high profile characters such as Batman, Superman, and Green Lantern, has designed the striking poster for the 2009 New York Comic Con, which has quickly become the second largest pop culture event in the U.S.  Adams will appear on panels and participate in autograph sessions throughout the weekend.

Other recently announced Guests of Honor at the NYCC include movie producer (The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, The Spirit) Michael Uslan, comic book and screenwriter Geoff Johns (Action Comics, JSA, The Flash: Rebirth), and top echelon comic book artist Jim Lee (All Star Batman & Robin, Batman, WildC.A.T.s).  Uslan, Johns and Lee will be appearing at various screenings, panels and events throughout the weekend and will also participate in autograph sessions.

The New York Comic Con also announced that Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer, the creators of The Venture Bros., will return to the NYCC as Special Guests representing the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.
