Scott Charles Stewart has been attached as the new director on the film based on Tokyopop’s Priest manhwa, according to Hollywood Reporter.   The movie will still be based on the Cory Goodman script; Gerard Butler and Steven Strait are apparently out along with the previous director Andrew Douglas (see “Gerard Butler to Star in ‘Priest’”).

Stewart is a special effects maven who’s currently working on Legion, his first directorial effort.
