Two CrossGen properties have been optioned in separate deals for other media. Threshold Entertainment, which previously did franchise rights purchases of Mortal Kombat and Duke Nukem, has optioned Sigil and Saurians for movie, TV and videogame uses. And Craven/Maddelena, whose Wes Craven is famous for Swamp Thing, Nightmare on Elm St., Scream, and more, has optioned Mystic for a live action primetime weekly series a la BTVS. Both deals were done by Branded Entertainment (see 'CrossGen Signs Development Deal with Branded'), whose Michael Uslan will exec produce any features or TV shows based on CrossGen properties.
