Comic property Deadworld, recently picked up by Framelight as part of a two-property deal with writer  Gary Reed (see “Framelight Opens for Business”), will get a script and design by David Hayter (Watchmen, X-Men) according to Variety.  The film will be financed by Framelight and Pandemonium, whose Bill Mechanic produced Coraline. 

Production is expected to begin in 2010.  The producers believe Deadworld can be a multiple picture story arc.
