Film rights for Craig Yoe’s Secret Identity: The Fetish Art of Superman’s Co-Creator Joe Shuster (see “Abrams Comic Art”) have been optioned by The Gotham Group, according to Variety. Yoe’s book tells the story of a secret series of underground comics drawn by Superman co-creator Joe Shuster. They were much in the news of the day in the 50s, being credited with causing crime and leading to a crackdown on comics.
