Warren Ellis was supposed to announce that he was working on an “untitled Arthurian project” at the San Diego Comic-Con, but there just wasn’t time at the Marvel animation panel where he discussed the Marvel character-based anime he is writing for Madhouse. So Ellis posted a note on his Website with barebones information indicating that he was working with the Hollywood Gang (Gianni Nunnari, Oliver Kramer, and Greg Flores), who co-produced the live action adaptation of Frank Miller’s 300, on an Arthurian film, which the producers are calling Excalibur and he refers to as the “Untitled Arthurian Project.”
