Radical Publishing announced two film/publishing deals with directors at San Diego Comic-Con. Joseph Kosinski, director of Tron Legacy, is slated to direct the feature film Oblivion, tied to an upcoming hardcover illustrated prose book he’s writing.  The film will be produced by Kosinski, Radical’s Barry Levine, David Fincher (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and David Morrison of Anonymous Content.  Radical’s Jesse Berger is executive producer.  The Kosinski book will be released at Comic-Con 2010.  Oblivion is a science fiction story set on a desolate planet in a distant future.

Darren Bousman, director of Saw II, III, and IV, will write and direct feature film Abattoir, based on a Radical miniseries developed by Bousman and writing-producing partner Michael Peterson.  Abattoir tells the story of a real estate agent who’s assigned to clean up after a brutal massacre at a mansion.
