Dark Horse parent Embracer Group is getting a new CEO on August 1, as the restructuring of the company continues, the company announced.  Phil Rogers will be promoted from Embracer Group Deputy CEO to CEO, and Embracer Group founder and current CEO Lars Wingefors will move to Executive Chair of the Board.

Rogers became CEO of British videogame company Eidos (Tomb Raider) in 2008, and was CEO of Square Enix's western business from 2009 to 2022, when it was acquired by Embracer Group (see "Embracer Group Acquires Square Enix Assets").

Embracer Group will be renamed Fellowship Entertainment when the company spins off videogame company Coffee Stain Group, which will take place by the end of this calendar year (see "Restructured Dark Horse Parent").  Major assets will include The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Tomb Raider, and over 300 additional gaming IPs, along with publisher and entertainment company Dark Horse.
