Funimation has acquired home entertainment, merchandise, and digital rights to two anime action series with some interesting associations.  Jyushin Enbo Hero Tales, from Media Factory, is directed by Osamu Sekita (Mobile Suit Gundam) and based on the manga by Hiromu Arakawa (manga-ka on the perennial top ten title Fullmetal Alchemist).  It tells the story of a young man searching for a legendary sword.

The 26-episode Jyushin Enbu Hero Tales anime will be released in half season sets this fall.

Master of Martial Hearts
Master of Martial Hearts (known in Japan as Zettai Shougeki – Platonic Heart) is a five-episode anime based on the videogame of the same name.  Directed by Yoshitaka Fujimoto (Girl’s High), it tells the story of a schoolgirl in a fighting tournament trying to win the sacred Platonic Heart.

Master of Martial Hearts will be released in one DVD set in Spring 2011.
