Corbit Wilkins of Captain Comics, Inc. in Boise, Idaho sends in his store's experience for Free Comic Book Day.
Our Free Comic Book Day went very well! We gave out 6 comics to each person, and 8 if they wore a costume! It seems to get bigger each year, with more and more people recognizing the special day with or without advertising. Thanks to all the publishers for putting out a great set of books! My only request is that each publisher come up with a concensus on the size for our store stamp. Some were too small to use our stamp, and some have the glossy paper that smears when stamped. Please get together and put out a "standard" size so we can be effective with our advertising. Those that don't won't get my orders in future years.
