In October Dynamite Entertainment is launching Green Hornet: Blood Ties, a four-issue prequel to Kevin Smith’s Green Hornet series.  Written by Ande Parks and illustrated by David Finch protégé Johnny Desjardins (who also provides the cover), Green Hornet: Blood Ties features the original Green Hornet and Kato in action against three crime families attempting to work together to the threats to their livelihoods and domination of Century City posed by emerald crime-fighter and his talented sidekick.

Blood Ties explores and expands the backstory created by Kevin Smith for his current Green Hornet series and will provide readers with an opportunity to see “a Green Hornet with attitude cleaning up the streets of Century City.”  The 32-page, full color first issue will carry a cover price of $3.99.
