Jay Bardyla of Happy Harbor Comics in Edmonton, Canada read the article on Stan Lee's Soldier Zero #1 being BOOM! Studios top selling comic (see "'Stan Lee's Soldier Zero' Is BOOM!'s ") and had this to say.
I'm sure I'm not the only retailer who's sitting on significantly more product than was sold because of the variant incentives. While the book may have "sold" more than 24,000 copies to retailers, I would be surprised if half that number are actually in the hand of readers. I guess we'll see by issue #3.
