IDW will launch True Blood: Series 2 in February.  The new series will be co-written by actor Michael McMillian and Marc Andreyko, with art by Joe Corroney and covers by Corroney and J. Scott Campbell. 

Jessica goes berserk from exposure to contaminated Tru Blood in the series, with Sookie, Bill and others trying to figure out who or what’s behind it.  Other new characters from the TV series making their first comic appearances include Hoyt, Terry, Arlene, and Steve Newlin. 

The first series was a top seller for IDW, with over 47,000 copies of the first issue sold in the direct market alone (see “True Blood Graphic Novel in February”).  A hardback collection of the first series will also be released in February.
