Dreamworks has acquired Voice From the Dead, a spec script from Thor, Babylon 5, and Changeling writer J. Michael Straczynski. Voices is fictional story based on a real friendship between Sherlock Holmes creator Arthur Conan Doyle and magician and escape artist Harry Houdini.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, in Voices From the Dead Doyle and Houdini join forces with a psychic to solve a string of bizarre murders.
