Marvel Studios has released two new poster designs for Kenneth Branagh’s Thor movie, which debuts on May 6th, 2011. The first design features a striking closeup image of star Chris Hemsworth bathed in a red light with “The God of Thunder” superimposed over his face in white.

 

The second banner-style poster features four key members of the film’s exceptional cast that includes Hemsworth, Academy Award-winners Anthony Hopkins and Natalie Portman and Idris Elba, who plays Heimdall. Both of these images were released first to IGN.
