Archaia Entertainment has announced that it will publish a hardcover graphic novel anthology of stories based on Immortals, a 3-D Greek mythology epic premiering November 11th, in September. The anthology will include work by David Mack, Ron Marz, Dennis Calero, and Ben Templesmith.
Archaia will publish Immortals under its new Black Label division, “a publishing pipeline dedicated to working alongside creative professionals within the entertainment industry eager to launch and expand their brands in the publishing world.” Deals for Black Label are being spearheaded by Joe LeFavi of Quixotic Transmedia.
Immortals tells the story of King Hyperion (played by Mickey Rourke), who leads his army across Greece to find a deadly weapon that will destroy humanity. Theseus (played by Henry Cavill), a mortal chosen by Zeus, must lead the fight against Hyperion. Relativity films include Salt, Despicable Me, The Fighter, and The Social Network.
