WizKids Games will release its first Halo HeroClix product in September 2011.

The 45 figure set will be sold in 5-figure boosters and will be comprised of the greatest heroes and villains from the Halo saga including the Flood, the Covenant, the UNSC Spartans and of course the Master Chief.  In addition, a new grenade mechanic makes its debut, adding new strategy and tactics for taking down opponents.



Of course, the best news for 'Clix players is the fact that the new Halo release will be 100% HeroClix compatible (see "Interview with WizKids' Justin Ziran").  This allows the new figures and characters to fit seamlessly into the wide range of WizKids' current HeroClix products--something the HeroClix player base has been hoping for.
