Comic-Con News—At the “Flashpoint Panel” at the San Diego Comic-Con DC Comics Executive Editor Eddie Berganza said that Flashpoint #5 will include “an amazing double-page spread that shows how we get from Flashpoint to September.” Artist Joel Gomez added, “The end of Flashpoint #3 dovetails into Flashpoint #5 in way I don’t think al lot of people are expecting, and we do something with the Speed Force that’s never been done before.”

 

Flashpoint #5 will debut on August 31st. The only other DC title out that day is Geoff John and Jim Lee’s Justice League #1, the first of the “New 52.”  Hints of the forces at work are to be found in the recently released Flashpoint #3, but evidently it is the final issue of the miniseries that provides the pivot point to the “New 52.”
