Tabletop Vacations has licensed Dungeons & Dragons to offer up a two-day Dungeon Master University symposium.

This event, held at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, is aimed at preparing D&D players to become "confident, creative, and career-ready Dungeon Masters." The symposium will offer a curriculum led by games industry professionals that includes teaching skill building, campaign building, world building, and career building (as a professional DM). Tabletop Vacations is the same company that has previously offered up D&D experiences in European castles.

“For years, we’ve brought unforgettable D&D experiences to castles across Europe,” said Tara Rout, Co-Founder of Tabletop Vacations. “DMU is the next evolution: an intensive, high-quality symposium crafted to build mastery and community among aspiring DMs.”

The first Dungeon Master University will occur January 2-3, 2026.

Wizards of the Coast announced that Heroes of the Borderlands, a new Dungeons & Dragons Starter Set, has hit preorder (see "New 'Dungeons & Dragons' Starter Set Incoming").
