Offspring Matriculate at 'Sky High'

Hollywood's appetite for superheroes and comic book material appears insatiable at this time -- case in point today's announcement in the Hollywood Reporter that producer Mike Mitchell (Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo) is teaming with the Disney studio to produce Sky High, a comedy based on a script by Paul Hernandez about a high school for the kids of superheroes. While Astonish Comics' Zoom Academy demonstrated that there is some potential in this kind of subject matter, let's hope that Mitchell and his team bring more to Sky High than just a penchant for titles with internal rhymes.
