At the Diamond Retailer Breakfast at the New York Comic Con DC Comics announced that it was extending its “returnable” program that it initiated during with the launch of the “New 52” in September.  The initial program for three months was later extended to include December.  Now DC is adding an additional four months, January, February, March and April of 2012.  There are fees and restrictions on the returnability program (see “DC FAQs for the New 52, Part I”), which will continue and DC is adding more 1:25 variant incentives, which will reduce the number of titles eligible for the returnable program.

According to Bleeding Cool, the extended returnability program will be available to retailers who maintain ordering their January through April titles at the same levels that they ordered the #3 November issues.
