The long-gestating Logan’s Run remake (see “’Logan’s Run’ Back on Track”) is starting over with a new writer, plus Ryan Gosling and Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn, according to Hollywood Reporter.  Gosling and Refn worked together on the recently released Drive, in which Gosling plays a Hollywood stunt driver drawn into a criminal underworld.  It received a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.  Baldwin is relatively new on the scene. 

A number of directors have been attached to this film in the past, which has also been through a number of scripts.  At least we can hope that when it does finally get made, producers Joel Silver and Akiva Goldsman kept trying until they got it right.
