The first poster for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has been released in conjunction with the release of the first trailer (see “Hobbit Trailer #1 Released”).  It depicts the character Bilbo Baggins walking out of Bag End toward the Shire.  Response to the trailer has been mostly positive, and strong momentum is already developing toward the release of the first film in the two-film series on December 13, 2012.
