Marcus Nispel (Conan the Barbarian, Friday the 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre) has been signed to direct Hack/Slash, according to The Wrap. The film is based on the comic title created by Tim Seeley, currently being published by Image Comics (see “’Hack/Slash’ Ongoing Series”).
Nispel is the third director on the film, replacing Fredrik Bond (see “’Hack/Slash’ Movie Getting Close”), who replaced Todd Lincoln. The movie is slated for release in 2013.
