X Concepts, Morpheus Forge Entertainment, and Digital Webbing have announced the April release of SKUMM #1, the first issue of a four-shot comic miniseries featuring characters that will be developed into action figures by X Concepts.  The story is set in 2102 when the SKUMM (Super Kinetic Ultra Magnetic Men), genetically engineered super soldiers infused with nano-technology, have retired from wars and entered the world of sport -- jousting on photon cycles and other high tech vehicles.  The book is created and written by Niveque Storm, drawn by Deon Nuckols (G.I. Joe, Thor), colored by Hi Fi Design (Superman, X-Men), and with cover art by Kaare Andrews (Spider-Man, Hulk).

The SKUMM action figures are due for release this fall from X Concepts, the company responsible for Tech Deck (the miniature skateboarders that spawned the fad), and will include battle gear and vehicles as well as the 12 different figures.
