The Big Bang Theory is the leading network outpost of geek culture—the cast members make weekly visits to the comic store and purchase not just comics, but also statues, costumes, replicas, and action figures based on their favorite comic book, TV, and movie properties.
In this clip, which comes via The Hollywood Reporter, Spock reminds Sheldon of the true purpose of toys and urges him to play with a transporter room toy that he has received as a gift from his roommate Leonard.
