Today’s news about Joss Whedon’s The Avengers includes the revelation that Whedon and his cast actually had a quick shoot after the movie’s Hollywood premiere.  Mark Ruffalo confirmed Robert Downey, Jr.’s assertion that Whedon was calling for one last shoot.  No one knows for sure what scene was shot, but the smart money is on some sort of end credits tag scene that might serve to set up a sequel to the movie that opens nationwide on May 4th.

Also released today is a cool new featurette entitled “Tensions,” which includes some comments from Whedon and a couple more zingers for Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark character.  Does he have it written in his contract that he gets all the good lines?  He certainly got the better of Loki in another recently released clip (see "Tony Stark vs. Loki in New 'Avengers' Clip").
