Titan Magazines and Robert Kirkman’s Skybound will launch The Walking Dead: The Official Magazine in October.  The quarterly magazine will be based on the comics, graphic novels, and AMC TV series.  The October launch date will tie the magazine launch to the premiere of Season 3 (see "Season 3 Secret").

Content will include interviews with creator Robert Kirkman, showrunner Glen Mazarra, exec-producer David Alpert, plus leads Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes), Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori Grimes), and Jon Bernthal (Shane).

The magazine will run 100 pages and the first issue will feature two covers: a photo cover plus an alternative comic shop only cover with an exclusive, colored zombie scene by The Walking Dead artist Charlie Adlard.

Street dates are October 23rd in the U.S. and Canada; November 8th in the UK; and December 18th for Australia and New Zealand.
