Archaia Entertainment, LLC and Diamond Book Distributors announced an agreement to have DBD distribute Archaia’s library of graphic novels and books to both the domestic and international book trade market, effective August 31st, 2012.  The agreement will unify all of Archaia’s print distribution under one roof as Diamond Comic Book Distributors has been distributing Archaia’s product line to the direct market.  Archaia had been distributed to the book store channel most recently by PGW.

 

Archaia’s list contains a wide range of comic and graphic novel properties with a backlist that includes Return of the Dapper Men, Rust, Cow Boy, and Jim Henson’s Rope of Sand, and strong frontlist titles such as Mouseguard and Cursed Pirate Girl.

 

Diamond’s Vice President of Purchasing Bill Schanes noted: "As a book distributor, our key focus is on graphic novels, and we look forward to working with Archaia to expand their sales and promote their bestselling line of graphic novels."
