NYCC News: Dynamite Entertainment announced today that veteran comic book creator Matt Wagner (Mage, Grendel) will write The Shadow: Year One for Dynamite in 2013.  Just as he did with Dynamite’s Green Hornet: Year One, Wagner hopes to create the ultimate origin story for the classic pulp magazine hero.

 

Wagner notes that "For all his published history in both the pulps and comics, as well as in his radio adventures there’s surprisingly no depiction of his very first adventures as the dark-clad Master of Men."  Look for more details about Wagner’s take on The Shadow’s origins in the near future.
