AMC’s The Walking Dead finished the first half of its third season with a bang on Sunday, topping 10.5 million viewers and cementing its rank as the #1 show, cable or broadcast, for adults 18-49 this fall, according to Deadline. The season premiere set records (see "'The Walking Dead' Season 3 Premiere Sets New Records"); the midseason finale audience was up over 50% from last year’s.
Comic and tabletop game sales have both been strong behind the massive audiences.
Telltale Games has announced December 11th as the release date at retailer for its The Walking Dead videogame, which has only been available online to date. The packaged version will offer all five episodes for $29.99.
