Humanoids will release two oversize hardcovers in the coming weeks. Eros Gone Wild, a 304-page, 9.5" x 12.5" color hardcover ($89.95), is a collection of material originally published in 1990. The short stories, by dozens of creators, are all on the theme of artistic sexual escapades. Artists include Barbarella creator Jean-Claude Forest, Beltran, Bilal, Caza, and Varenne, along with many more. The volume will be released in mid-January.
Jihad, a new edition of the graphic novel The Horde by Igor Baranko, will be released in February as a 144-page, 8.5" x 12.3" color hardcover. Jihad tells the story of a Russian dictator in 2040 who searches for the corpse of the latest reincarnation of Genghis Khan to invoke his spirit and that of the Golden Horde to build an empire.
