Variety is reporting that Halle Berry is likely to be tapped to play the role of Catwoman in the upcoming film.  While she hasn't been signed yet, it's being reported as a done deal.  The role has been up in the air since Ashley Judd, who'd been talked about for the role for many months, pulled out to do Cat on a Hot Tin Roof on Broadway in the midst of rumors that other actresses were being considered (see 'Ashley Judd Prefers 'Cat' To Catwoman').  Berry would be switching universes; she's played Storm in both X-Men movies.  No word on when production might start.
