Today Valiant Entertainment released a teaser for "The Worlds Worst Superhero Team."  A formal announcement of the project is due next week leaving fans to wonder if the teaser refers the dysfunction among a team of superheroes or perhaps to the nature of the heroes and the efficacy of their superpowers. 

 

It is possible that this is some sort of new group, but given the fact that the new Valiant has been exclusively mining its own library of heroes, it is most likely this announcement trumpets the return of Quantum and Woody, an unlikely team (created by Christopher Priest and M.D. Bright) made up of the decorated Army tactical officer Eric Henderson and his goofy companion Woodrow Van Chelton, an erstwhile musician who carries a guitar, but never seems to have a band.

 

Whatever the nature of the new series, it is slated to start in July.
